About CWOP

The California Workplace Outreach Project (CWOP) is a statewide initiative designed to inform and protect workers across industries. Our goal is to ensure that every worker, regardless of background or immigration status, understands their rights and has access to trustworthy resources.

LABOR RIGHTS

If you are fired, or your pay or work hours are reduced for exercising your labor rights, that is retaliation, and it is illegal.

It’s also illegal for your employer to threaten to report you to immigration authorities for exercising your rights as a worker.
