Support for Justice-Impacted Youth in SPA 8

The RAY (Resilience and Accountability for Youth) Program provides critical support for justice-impacted youth in SPA 8, operated by the April Parker Foundation.

Resilience and Accountability for Youth

Funded by the Los Angeles County Department of Youth Development (DYD), the RAY Program offers specialized services for youth currently incarcerated, on parole, or at risk of further system involvement. It serves communities across:

Avalon, Carson, Catalina Island, El Segundo, Gardena, Harbor City, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lawndale, Lennox, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Dominguez, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, San Pedro, Torrance, Wilmington, and surrounding communities.

The application process is straightforward and can be completed online in just a few steps.
Youth Diversion & Reentry Support

Restorative justice programs, one-on-one mentorship, and alternatives to incarceration rooted in community care.

Housing Assistance

Emergency and transitional housing options for youth without stable living conditions.

Case Management & Wraparound Support

Customized care plans focused on:
